FINDING MY ‘WHY’.
Well, guess who’s back with a brand new rap?
It’s me.
And you wouldn’t want to hear me rap.

4 THINGS I LEARNED IN 2018
It’s the middle of January – and I’ve been putting off writing this post.
When I jotted down the title ‘4 things I learned in 2018’ – I’d assumed it’d be easy to sum up 365 days into a short, snappy article.
I’ve discovered, though, that I’m literally incapable of writing a short, snappy pointless blog post. What’s the point? You don’t want to read it, and I don’t want to write it.
So, here’s my ACTUAL lessons from 2018 – my most ‘successful’ year to date. LOL. Enjoy.

IT’S NOT REAL.
As I flicked through instagram this morning I received an unwelcome reminder that, almost a year ago, I’d made a commitment – an all-in ‘I’m going to blog every week’ kind of commitment to putting myself (& my thoughts) out there more.
Not only that, but I was reminded how, as with most other commitments I’d made in a flurry of ‘I’m so motivated right now’, I’d bailed.
You see, this ‘putting yourself out there’ thing – it’s super uncomfortable & all kinds of vulnerable. Given enough thought, it’s amazing how adept you can be at finding a million and one excuses as to why you have nothing of any value to contribute anyway.
And do you know what? Sometimes you genuinely don’t.

PROUD OF ME.
I’m a little late to the table here – but I felt like it was maybe time that I, too, acknowledged the beginning of a Happy New Year.
So, is it just me, or was anyone else ready for 2017 to just go ahead and be over?
For all the breathtaking highs of last year – those highs were often met with some pretty low lows; some of the most noteable being that I am now 26, I continue to age daily, & Donald Trump is somehow the president.
